Sarah Currie Mardell is the owner and sole proprietor
of Mardell Law Office. Her special interest in and commitment to family
law, probate and personal injury cases is reflected throughout her
practice.
Ms. Mardell served as the Hugo City Prosecutor
for 15 years and has been an attorney in Dakota County for more than
35 years. She
has a well-earned reputation in
the legal community as a tough negotiator dedicated to the protection of her
clients’ interests.
A native of Minnesota and Dakota County resident
for over two decades, Ms. Mardell has held office and served on the
Board of Directors
of various professional
associations as well as community volunteer organizations. She has served as
president, vice-president, treasurer and board member of both the Dakota County
Bar Association and the First District Bar Association. She has also served
as a board member of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association.
Education
Ms. Mardell received her Juris Doctor degree from
the William Mitchell College of Law in January, 1975 and her BA degree
majoring in psychology from the University of Minnesota. She has also
completed certified civil mediation skills training.

Ms. Mardell was admitted to the Minnesota Bar
in 1975. She is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court – District
of Minnesota, U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of
Minnesota, and Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Ms. Mardell is a member of the First District
Bar Association, Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, Minnesota State
Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
